Sportpesa Shenanigans

To wake up the first time in a new place can be like another birth, well not the gruesome picture of a woman wailing and the doctors urging her to push harder, rather the confusion of emerging from a dream and realizing you are in unfamiliar territory. This morning, my ears were filled with a high clear sound; it was a little while before I knew it was from a nearby Mosque. The room was dim lit; the ceiling was high and the walls far away. How I got here was still a mystery much like the Halloween mystery of the creative director missing. Being a good copy detective I knew it was only a matter of time before I established my coordinates ; sounds a bit James 'Bondish' right? I know I know, just watched Spectre and I can't help it. Back to the room I was in , I woke up from the cold floor and realized I was still in a drunken stupor, must have been the whisky from last night! Being a senior odds hunter at sportpesa I knew very well that gambling and alcohol do not mix. I remembered having drinks with the boys at a famous joint in town and having placed a bet just after we entered the pub I was sure we were going to paint the town red with my winnings. I ordered the most expensive whisky and the party was on track. We enjoyed the drink and danced away all our troubles. A clique of light skin ladies joined us and being the gentleman I am, I made sure they had anything they wanted. At around midnight I wondered why I had not received any congratulatory message from Sportpesa, the betting site which has given many youth employment. Knowing it was just a mistake I logged into the world wide web to check the match results of the bet I had placed and almost collapsed in shock! Keeping calm is not my forte and my pals realized that things were getting thick. One by one they exited together with the ladies and I was left with the bill to foot. A scary looking man who I later came to know was the manager, came to the table I was at and asked me to pay up immediately. His waiters had tried and I had harshly asked to see the manager. I told him I would pay as soon as possible and even offered to show him my three latest payslips. Intrigued he asked me to do so. I had hatched a brilliant idea, the last kick of a donkey if you may. I took my smartphone and showed him previous congratulatory messages from Sportpesa bet slips. I am now waiting for my friends to pay my bail so that I can be released from jail.
